It has been so long since I have written on this blog. September 2022 to be exact. So much has happened since then. New relationships, a new house, a new town, loss of a pet, and a new puppy. It has been crazy.
Now that things are settling down; I am going to try to write again. I am also going to have handmade items that I, as well as my fiancés items for sale on the site. We are both quilters and I have expanded to long arm quilting again. I continue to make junk journals and have them on the site for sale.
So, where to start? I have taken on a new family, to include my fiancé Jim, his son Bub,19, and daughter Lexi, 20. Of course my son turns thirty this year, is married and lives in Tennessee. My dad, brother, sister-in-law, and nieces and nephews are all doing well. Love the craziness of family.
Seven days before Christmas, we moved into a new house in Burdett, NY. A beautiful small town near Watkins Glen NY. We are finally seeing the end of packed boxes and chaos. Our craft room takes up two rooms in the house and are a total mess, but we know where, almost everything is. It is bliss.
I had to say goodbye to Loki in December 2023. An incredibly sad day. In January we welcomed a new bulldog puppy we named Carmella. Carmy for short. We still have the three cats Spook, Cheeto and Cat. Puppy and cats are having a tough time, but I have faith they will soon get along, or just start ignoring each other, if I am lucky.
Life is extremely good. Looking toward the future and making all kinds of plans. So many projects for the new house and I am extremely excited about having a garden again. Oh, and after 6 and a half years I finally resigned from Kohl’s. So now I have time to do the things I want. I am living life to the fullest and I hope you are too.
Good things to come. Welcome back and I hope you stay with me.
